However, at this stage in our lives, changes in the health of yourself or a loved one can change your perception of a self-sufficient retirement. In the past, moving into a retirement apartment has always come with the possibility of one day having to move out, as care needs increase. Thankfully, Amarco Apartments takes a fresh approach to retirement living, offering continuing care and flexible accommodation designed to meet your health and housing needs as they change over time

While most people entering Amarco Apartments will enjoy active lifestyles, it's reassuring to know that your future needs can be provided for. Funded by the Commonwealth Government and designed to keep you in your own home longer, care packages are delivered from the on-site Community Hub and available to all residents (subject to an assessment by an Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT) located at major hospitals). If required, residential care and specialist services can be offered on-site so that couples can remain in close proximity to each other regardless of varying health and care needs. This innovative new approach ensures that, no matter what changes there are in your circumstances, you can receive the care and support you need without having to change location, ensuring that your new home will remain your home for life.
